David Piper graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1982 and received his law degree in 1987 from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he was awarded the AmJur book award for academic excellence on three separate occasions. 

He was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1987 and the Nebraska Bar in 1988, and was employed as a litigator with an insurance defense firm in North Platte, Nebraska prior to joining Beck, Payne, Frank & Piper, P.C. in 1988.

David is involved in all areas of litigation, including insurance subrogation, family law and collections.  He has been representing major insurance carriers in large loss subrogation claims since 1992.  He has pursued large commercial and residential losses up to $3.5 million.
